Feeling Good at 25!

LIFE OF A 25 YR OLD

So I made it. I am now officially 25 years old. That fact is a little unsettling for me. I am half way to fifty, a quarter of the way to 100 and older than the amount of birthday candles you can purchase in one 24 candle box. I can no longer say that I am in my early twenties. I am in the 25-30 bracket! Yikes!

This year, I celebrated my birthday by having a 8 yr old Birthday Party theme. There were balloons and streamers, hats and noise makers, and loot bags for all the guests. I had a pool party at the local rec centre followed by chocolate birthday cake with m&ms afterwards. It was a fun time trying to postpone actually turning 25.

But in all seriousness, I feel that 25 is going to be a good year. I had that feeling about 24 and it was a good year so why can't 25 be the same. I feel like I'm stepping into a new stage. I am a little anxious about what the year may hold but I am also excited about what the year may hold as well. Bring on the 2 boxes of candles! I'm ready!
